CINEMA CONNECT creates community screenings that inform, inspire and empower audiences. With partner organizations, we produce recurring transformational film series that connect people with compelling films and a shared experience.

WHAT ARE COMMUNITY SCREENINGS?  Community screenings are an emerging film distribution model that differs from theatrical and home screening in that the nature of these screenings fosters the discussion of the issues and bonding of local community members.  These screenings take place in public venues with expected attendance between 50 and 300 people and provide incremental revenue for the filmmakers.  These screenings also serve to amplify the social media efforts and further the word of mouth on the film.
